The Call for Speakers in now open, submit your proposal by 10 April 2026!

We invite submissions of proposals for posters, papers and presentations to be considered for inclusion in the Actuarial Society of South Africa’s 2026 Convention on 7 and 8 October. The Convention will be held in person at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

Proposals should be closely aligned to the Convention theme of ‘Redefining Boundaries’. Redefining Boundaries is about expanding what it means to be an actuary. It is about engaging with global issues, embracing new tools such as artificial intelligence, and applying actuarial thinking in increasingly wider fields or novel ways. It challenges us to look beyond our own markets and sectors, and to contribute meaningfully in a world that is more connected and more complex.
